A custom brush made into a gear shape, then used to clone stamp it onto a layer with changed brush dynamics, and with a drop shadow added. A textured surface was dragged underneath and the light direction of the drop shadow was changed to match the texture light source.
A combination of 3D effects where I told photoshop to create a 3D mesh of an image, copied it 5 times then superimposed it over a background. The background a was a photo of cabbages, with a filter effect to 'find edges', and then a hue and saturation shift with a radial blur zoom. Phew. File size at 300ppi = 520Mb PSD file.

This was smoke from an incense stick taken on a black background initially. It was turned into a negative and photoshopped to produce a rainbow effect through it.

This was a photo taken from the top of the Q1 tower on the Gold Coast at night! I pointed the camera down at the traffic lights moving along the coast, used a slow shutter speed and zoomed at the same time. Then I turned it from black to psychadelic colours, and turned it on its side.

Other shots like this one started life as a black and white negative. A variety of coloured variations of this images have been produced : black, blue and white.

Some of the latest work Ive been doing is photoshopping existing images and giving them psychadelic colours. The shots that work the best are ones with 'centrifugal shapes' or ones with direction. Some can be produced so that they have one predominant colour, and can be altered to suit the colour scheme of your room.
